Nottinghamshire Primary Schools Invited to Win Free Immersive Experience for Pupils

Primary schools across Nottinghamshire are being encouraged to take part in a competition to win a free immersive dinosaur experience.

Educational workshop provider Giant Journeys has launched a public vote, giving parents, carers, teachers and local communities the chance to nominate and vote for a primary school to receive a visit from Reggie the animatronic T-Rex.

Giant Journeys was established in September 2024 by founder Darren Smith, who has a passion for creative education and a more than two decades of experience providing innovative experiences for children.

Darren’s unique educational experiences are a novel way to engage young learners in historical topics. As well as Reggie the T-Rex, Darren offers insights into World War 1, The Stone Age, the Egyptians and the Romans through AI workshops, to bring the eras to life for the children. He also offers VR tours of the human body, under the sea and the solar system.

Voting is open until the competition closes on 23rd October 2026. Winners will be announced shortly afterwards. Runners up will receive a coveted discount voucher.
